继《喜爱夜蒲》系列完结后，导演钱国伟正积极筹备一部以台北夜场发生的青春爆笑喜剧《台北夜蒲团》（暂名）。为了这部电影，导演及制作团队不惜在香港、上海、深圳及台北进行试镜工作，而团队在一月底及二月中旬分别在台北举行公开招募试镜及个别会面。
